This very cute game of Mermaids is a great game to use as a memory game or snap game.

If you play as a memory game place all the laminated cards upside down on a table or the floor. Then take it in turns to choose a card. The aim is to  try and find the pair. If not then place them back face down. Remember where they are. The one with the most pairs wins.

If you play it as a snap game. Deal out the cards to all players. Then take it in turns to place the cards down. When you find a pair put your hand on it and say snap. The one with the most pairs at the end wins.

A fun activity to help encourage language development, fine motor skills, cognitive development and hand eye coordination.
