Each week the children get to explore their senses for smell, sight, sound, taste, and touch. Some of the things we have made include Sensory Bins, Slime, Button mobiles and Paper Mache, we also have open ended construction. Our Workshops are beneficial for children’s fine motor skills, socializing with other children, language development, cognitive skills, hand eye coordination and imaginative play.
We value the children’s input and ask them what they would like to do each week. We offer other activities for the children to do during the hour as well such as Lego, coloured rice, or water play. Afternoon tea is provided each week. We can also invoice our workshops through the NDIS.
Our workshops run every Wednesday afternoon during the school term, between 4pm and 5pm in Mooroolbark, Melbourne, Victoria.
